This virtual reality experience takes visitors of any library to Italian renaissance artist’s fresco “The School of Athens” where players can meet and talk to ancient Greek philosophers – Aristotle, Pythagoras, Plato and Socrates.
The intent of this experience is to showcase the “modern library” in which knowledge can be gained in new and immersive ways.
Project firstly introduced at European parliament in Brussels got many of the parliamentarians and international library community representors interested. Later this educational virtual reality experience was shown in many libraries.
This kind of technology not only shows learning in new ways but also attracts new visitors.
